Le uve di due vitigni internazionali si uniscono con quelle di un vitigno autoctono, vinificandole in legno come da tradizione Almivisi. Qortè è un blend con forte personalità e grande piacevolezza gustativa.

HARVEST

The grape harvest takes places in two peri- ods. The first harvested quantity gives fresh- ness and fruity scents, while the second quantity, which is left maturing for a longer time, gives structure and smoothness. The harvest is strictly done by hand and the best bunches are selected.

The fresh grapes are pressed softly after few hours from the harvest and are left macer- ating at 10°C for some hours in stainless steel containers. After that it is gently pressed. The must is settled cold and natu- rally. The clear part is put into French wood barrels, where the alcoholic fermentation and the following six-months long ageing take place. In this period weekly batonnages take place and the use of sulphites is mini- mized.

ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES

Golden yellow, bright. The fruity scent reminds citrus fruits, exotic fruit, acacia honey and a light vanilla flavour. Well-bod- ied and structured, this wine is never cloy- ing, thanks to its good acidity, which gives freshness and sapidity.

ENOGASTRONOMIC MATCHINGS

Particularly recommended with seafood cuisine, from raw and cooked starters, even smoked, to risotto and grilled fish. Excellent with white meat dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
